Bo Grebitus, a native of the state, is related to the pioneer Dodson and Breuner families which located to California in the 1850’s. He spent many summers of his early youth in the High Sierra Lake Tahoe Basin and it was during those early summers that Bo learned the great history surrounding the lake. In reading many of the lake’s history books, Bo took a special interest in the region’s vintage photographs. It became a passion of his to collect these great images and learn the history surrounding them, often hiking far off into the mountains in tracking down the origination and site of a photograph.
